IF YOU WANT TO STRENGTHEN YOUR FINGERS DONT START WITH THIS, THIS VIDEO IS FOR SOMEONE WHO CAN ALREADY HOLS A PUSHUP FINGER HOLD FOR MORE THAT 15 OR 20 SECONDS. IF YOU ARE A BEGINNER, YOU MUST START WITH THIS:

-FINGER PUSHUP HOLD IN A WALL
is similar as if you cant do any pushups, yopu just start with easy wall holds and thats it because you will get used to holding your fingers in that position, first do it pronated and then in a supinated manner with your fingers.

STEP 2
- INCREASE LEVERAGE OF STEP 1:
it is simple, once vertically in wall with your fingers on a wall becomes to easy, then you increase leverage by going more in a horizontal position in relation to the floor. try to go as far as 45 degrees or even 40 in relation to the floor, and try to achieve this for 20 or 30 econds(if more even better, but intensity i very low in this so gop for 30)

STEP 3
- KNEE PUSHUP HOLD OR DOG POSITION HOLD IN FINGERS
NOW HERE IS WHERE THE REAL CHALLENGE STARTS, you need to be able to hold pushup in knees with your fingers, if oit is to hard, do it on a dog position and gradually move in to a knee pushup position hold. once you achieve thios for 30 seconds or 20 in both supinated and pronated positions, you are ready for full pushup position.

FINAL STEP.
PUSHUP HOLD IN FINGERS(PINNACLE OF BASIC FINGER STRENGTH)
with step 3, you must already be ble to hold yourself in your fingers for at lest 5 seconds, with thtg you cn already start to build your way up to 230 or 30 seconds, which will be enough for you to do some pushups on fingers as shpown in the video. THe progressions showed in the viudeo are following this step do not attempt them wif you cant do this because then you will injure yourself and your fingers very badly.

RECOMMENDATIONS.
- TRAIN THEM LIKE 3 TO 4 TIMES PER WEEK SINCE YOUR FINGERS NEED FREQUENCY IN THE FIRST PROGRESSIONS. AND DO 3 SETS OF COLSE TOP FAILURE HOLDS. YOU DONT WANT TO GO TO FAILURE SINCE IT IS NOT NECESARY BUT GO CLOSE AS ENOUGH TO BECOME STRONGER.

- DONT TRAINTHEM IF YOUR PERFORMNC IN FINGER STRENGTTH IS DECREASING. YOPU ARE DOING ISOMETRICS AND THEY ARE TOUGH. SO IF YOU ARE FEELING A BIT OF JOINT DORENESS OR DECREASE IN PERFORM, ACNCE, REST 2 OR 3 DAYS TO AVOPID OVERTRAINING AND YOU WILL BE EVEN STRINBGER.

- DONT GO TO FAILURE BUT RATHER FOCUS ON SPECIALIZATION BY POSITION AND TIME. LETS SAY YOU CAN DO IT FOR 20 SECONDS AND YOUR MAX IS 25. THE BETTER THOSE 20 SECONDS LOOK THE EASIER IT WILL BECOME AND THE STRONGER YOU BECOME, MEANING YOUR MAXE WILL INCREASE WITHOUT GOING TO FAILURE, WHICH IS GREAT BECAUSE IT AVOID INJURIE AND POSSIBLE FRACTURE DUE TO OVER USE. ONCE THOS 20 SECONDS BECOME TO EASY GOP FOR 25 AND THE PERFECT IT, AND THE 30 AND ON AND ON AND ON. TILL YOU BUILD UP TO AS MUCH AS YOU WANT AS LONG AS YOU ODONT GO TO FAILURE

Now I did not see any videos of you doing one handed finger Push ups.
I want to challenge you! I can do it with one hand 3 fingers!
I got motivated one year ago into Calisthenics by you and Chris Heria.
But haven't training for like 15 20 years 😅

I have trigger finger or tendonitis in my index so I can't do any exercise movement that straightens it.

Yeah yeah you please do a *beginner* version where you're not in pushup? Like....how do you START to strengthen your fingers for that?

I broke (😂destroyed is more like it) a knuckle in my dominant hand some years back and I'm trying to strengthen it, but THIS is nowhere near my league. My goal for sure, but I gotta be realistic.
