Night of the Hunt - Sacred Parish

Night of the Hunt is my second original album inspired by Bloodborne. The first album - Borne in Blood, was made before the game came out and was more of an imagining of what the music could be like. Night of the Hunt however is directly inspired by the game itself and its soundtrack. You can almost imagine this as a musical expansion to the game with more bosses and locations. I've tried to make this feel like my own take on the Bloodborne sound but I've also given nods to the original soundtrack to make it feel more connected. I hope this album gets people excited about Bloodborne again as it's really fantastic.

When I hear this and think of Parish, I think that the Parish is Sacred to the people of Yharnam, because that is where they receive their blood.

Even now, as the Parish is destroyed and in tatters, beasts can be seen just waiting, as if at some point they will receive blood from a nun that by now is long gone, dead, or transformed.

Perhaps whatever part of them that's still human is hoping the blood will save them. All the more pity then, praying to the ones that damned them in the first place.

This will be the atmospheric theme for the DLC "hub" area. The Hub will have several hunters and Church doctors milling about and each will tell you some small details about the area and what's happening, except the doctors will be very vague about it. If you have befriended Djura, and the Blood Moon is out, you may find him here as well. He will say that he has finally realized that no matter what their pasts, beasts are beasts, and he has come to Braildorn to join the Hunt. He will chuckle after this and say "Of course, I only really figured that out after they scaled the clocked tower and nearly killed me." After meeting him here, you can summon him in several locations.

The Parish Hub is a large courtyard will Candles and torches lighting the place up, and well as large jars of incense at every entrance. There will of course be a Lantern in the middle of it, and you can receive quests for unique items or high level Blood Gems by talking to certain NPCs. All the while you are there, you can hear the howls and snarls of beasts, and sometimes men and women partolling the walls with guns shoot down at the beasts.

It is far more lively than regular Yharman, as there is a bigger concentration of survivors and Hunters here, and it doesn't feel *nearly* as dark and lifeless as the rest of the game.

Do you know Graham Plowman's work? He composes music based on Lovecraft's tales. There's a track of his called "Beyond Death", part of a larger work based on "Herbert West, Reanimator", which is strikingly similar to this composition of yours.

I know you used voice samples for the choir, but did you try to arrange them into actual words? Because I can clearly hear "adoramus" and "crucifixus", Latin for, respectively, "we worship" and "crucifix".
