This Suspicious Letter Could Solve This Maritime Mystery

On the 20th of July, 1938, 3 men in their 40s, set sail from La Palma island to El Heirro. They were all related to each other. 2 of them were brothers and 1 of them was a cousin.

They had made the same trip multiple times before. It was only a 50 miles or 80 kilometers journey.

The purpose of the trip was to deliver agricultural products and the boat they chose was El Fausto. A large 14 meters long or 46 feet long boat. The boat was a fishing boat, but due to its size, it was sometimes used to transport cargo.

Miguel Acosta Hernández, and brothers Ramón and Eliberto Concepción Hernandez safely arrived at their destination and unloaded their cargo.

Just as they were about to leave, a 27-year-old man ran towards them, waving his arms around frantically. The man was Julio García Pino. He had just missed the last boat leaving the island a few minutes prior.
