The Jedi keeping quiet about seeing a sith lord reminds me of Goblet of Fire, when Fudge and the ministry refuse to believe Voldemort is back until it’s too late

If the Jedi cover this up, it would definitely help explain why Dooku held the council responsible for Quigon's death. It would also explain his suspicion about the coming darkness.

The ending shot where all the Jedi are repulsed backwards by a red aura, gave me ‘bleeding a Kyber Crystal’ vibe heavy and I love all the variety of it all. The planets, the Jedi, the cinematic elements etc

I love how they were able to make somethibg previously mundane of seeing another red lightsaber and making it threatening. I gotta admit that the HR does such a good job engrossing in the conflicts against the Nhihl, you are lulled into a false sense of security and practically forgetting about the Sith. So in the context of the HR, seeing a red saber again is a complete robes to be darkened moment.

Meanwhile for those unfamiliar with HR, theyre not seeing the big deal. Hate to say it but this is probably gonna be another huge case of casual and hardcore disconnect.

While I'm not familiar with the events of the High Republic era (Never really read any of the novels or comics), this does seem like an interesting series. I'm just hoping they do try and bring Darth Tenebrous into this, as he was brought into the canon through a legion of Palpatine's Sith Eternal loyalists in Episode IX.

Someone pointed out that the lightsaber poster reminds them of the Jedi Fallen Order poster. Another pointed out that the blood could represent the bleeding process .

I love the reason legends ideas were put into the series. "No one told me I couldn't, so I did." Very much reminds me of Dave Filoni's philosophy

In the prequel era the Jedi knew about the sith and the rule of two. They even asked the question who was destroyed the master or the apprentice? Mace was just over confident that he would be able to sense the sith and was confused as to how they could return without anyone sensing it. So Palpatine must have been really good a hiding his dark side tendencies and vibes from the Jedi. He was never discovered until it was too late.

Comment section on the trailer got me down, if people don't feel enthused about SW anymore, why watch the trailer just to poopoo it? I, for one, am giddy about this series and I appreciated the breakdown, especially coming from someone who loves the franchise and knows a lot about it ❤

Oh my goodness I‘m sooo excited!! In love with the premise of this show already, these mystery-type stories suit Star Wars so well imo. And having the characters be all fresh and new makes it even better (also seriously all these names are bangers they totally nailed that)

Loved this trailer, the entire visual of the series looks stunning. Really enjoyed seeing these new Jedi and also the Sith Acolyte, hoping that at some point in this story, Tenebrous or Plagueis are involved. High expectations.
