GTA 5 Graphics & Performance Comparison- PS3 vs. Xbox 360

Hey guys, welcome back. Now daily i get question on which platform GTA 5 looks and runs better- The PS3 Or XBOX 360? And in this video we'll do a side by side graphics comparison, and check out how GTA 5 performs on both consoles. On paper it should be almost identical, the XBOX 360 has slightly worse ground textures, while the PS3 suffers from some minor FPS drops. So i can't wait to test if there's difference in a real world side by comparison. The test footage in this video is shot in under the same in game weather conditions and time of day to ensure equal lighting scenarios.
In conclusion, both the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 offer a playable GTA 5 experience, but the Xbox 360 tends to have a slight edge in terms of graphics, performance, and loading times. Ps3 wins with textures while xbox 360 wins on fps, on the other hand GTA 5 Looks beautiful on both consoles especially with 2005-2006 hardware

The main difference is that on the PS3 the cars are more detailed with softer edges of their polygons, while the Xbox 360 has a more stable FPS. The rest is pretty much the same

Better resolution, better details, better color pallette, better drawing distance, better frame rates…. etc. if someone say ps3 better, probably he is fanboy. I tried two of consoles and xbox 360 provides more quality games.

Fun fact: The PS3 version is the only version of the game that isn’t a port. It was the platform that Rockstar programmed the game on first, so it was given slightly more priority than the 360 version. This means that the 360 version is a port of the PS3 build. I can confirm this by looking at the early gameplay previews of the game before it’s official release. Most if not all of the footage that was shown was recorded from the PS3 version. Of course, since the 360 version was a port of the PS3 version, some changes had to be made due to the game being so integrated to the PS3’s custom design/architecture. For instance, in the 360 version, most of the high-resolution assets seen in the PS3 version were slightly compressed/lowered in quality, presumably because the DVDs couldn’t stream data as efficiently or hold as much data compared to a Blu-ray (which the PS3 uses). Some 3D models in the 360 version are also pixelated (e.g. wheels), and since the 360 was incapable of outputting a true 7.1 audio signal, the sound output isn’t quite up to par as the PS3 version. On the bright side, the 360 version has fewer frame rate dips in many instances assumedly because the RAM that the 360 uses isn’t shared unlike the PS3 where the RAM is spilt into two which made the hardware more complicated to program for. This is mostly the reason why Rockstar prioritized the PS3 for GTA V’s development because they wanted to make sure that the game is identical across both versions because their earlier projects like GTA IV and Red Dead Redemption had noticeable differences between the two versions since Rockstar used the 360 as the base and then ported the games to the more complex PS3 hardware.

I personally own a 360 and I must say that it is a beast for its hardware. Its a little monster. I can say that because one time I went to military area in GTA 5 and when so many soldiers and tanks surrounded me and started firing on me, it was lagging a bit but it was completely playable.

bro good reviews i comeprsion both them and if you notice when you drive in jungle and hills ps3 version have more vegetables and flowers and like this stuff i think that's the reason ps3 drop fps more

Skvala, I cant believe that we are stuck with the same number of buttons since the first dualshock. I have an idea of one or two function buttons that in combine with dpad directions or face buttons would give you additional functions. Just imagine - 8 or even 16 additional functions.
