The Clear Touch Education Forum in Stockholm

I present the keynote talk of the ClearTouch Education Forum in Stockholm, the Tech Directors and I also tour around Gamla Stan: the old city around the bridges.

The joy of sharing our vision for engaging students with video during my keynote was mirrored by the tech directors passion for providing the best learning environment possible for their students. Swapping stories of their resourcefulness to engage students with technology continues to inspire me today.

Stockholm means log island in Swedish where Sigtuna legend has it that a log was carved out and filled with gold and floated on the water until it eventually landed on what we now call Gamla Stan, the old city between the bridges.

The 13th century medieval alleyway, cobbled streets and archaic architecture was the perfect setting for Mark and I to experience the heart of Gamla Stan and it's eclectic shops before our river cruise with all of the Tech Directors.

During the cruise Dan and I had a chance to swap stories about our experiences working with technology in Africa. I was amazed at Dan's commitment to helping students with special needs from around the world.

The evening brought us back to the Old Town to 3
the ultimate Viking Dining Experience at Aifur Krog, a fitting connection to how our history grounds and guides the experiences with share with our kids. I learned so much that day and I'll never forget the feeling of connectedness that we shared with the tech director community.
