Front-runner Ben Wallace will not enter Tory leadership race

Defence Secretary Ben Wallace has ruled himself out of the race to be the next Prime Minister and leader of the Conservative Party.

Mr Wallace was an early favourite to succeed Boris Johnson but in a tweet he said: "After careful consideration and discussing with colleagues and family, I have taken the decision not to enter the contest for leadership of the Conservative Party."

Sunak is guilty of exactly the same things as Boris. How can anyone seriously consider him is beyond me.

If we get lumbered with Sunak there will be trouble. There is no way I would accept anyone linked with Tax Avoidance as a PM. Especially when he was Chancellor. Should have been sacked and booted out of parliament.
