In this session, the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) presents its work on peatlands through its Global Peatlands Initiative (GPI), highlighting the importance and the need of having a peatlands pavilion in the most important Climate change conference and its objectives. The session also celebrates GPI partner countries who will share success stories and best practices and highlight the opportunity that peatlands represent as a super Nature-Based Solution in their country, and worldwide.
