Maybe a little less product or a different (warmer or cooler) shade of red could make it work. Or maybe even a red that is a bit more muted or darker. Holo Grave cosmetics has a gray blush but maybe even something like the Danessa Myricks color fix in black(like a tiny amount) or a very dark skintone shade or a burgundy could help make the shade a bit more suitable.

red doesn't work on olive skin it just makes the green of the skin more apparent.

You added a ton of product. Maybe try again with a smaller amount so it doesn't look quite as strong 😅

will you please try again with a smaller amount

Just look for a red that suits YOUR under/overtones. Judging by how your skin looks on camera, a shade of deep warm red would suit you best

maybe if u used a darker red shade it could look better ? i know purple usually gives roughly bubblegum pink on brown skin then maybe a burgundy color could have the same effect

I'm Indian but this hack works for me ..I have a cooler tone so I use a cooler red shade but in a very small amount with a moisturizer

Def used too much but I see what ur saying. I have olive undertone too and I like using a cool toned pink to blend out the pop of red on the circles of my cheeks. The pink follows more of a c shape blush app. ❤❤❤

I think a deeper, cooler red and a bit less product might look nice

Try using less, if you still think it's too much, add powder on top. I do the powder trick all the time, sometimes using color corrector peach under powder as my blush.

This might sound a bit crazy, but mixing a little purple into it

As an olive girlie, even during my pale season and especially in my pale season, I love red and berry blushes.

During winter it gives that perfect out in the cold look and in the summer it gives that sun kissed look.

Whenever I switch to other colors like pinks or oranges, I feel like I look off cause I hardly wear them. Or it doesn’t look like “enough” cause they’re usually more subtle unless you pick a bright pink and neon orange.

y'all telling her to use less, why shouldn't she use her normal amount of blush? if it works it works, it's not the amount, this red doesn't work on olive skin.

Add like 3-4 dots next time it looks good I swear I have the same complexion as you

Reds do suit darker skin tones, you just need a red that suits your undertones and also to use less product
