Why Doesn't Vergil Use Normal Devil Trigger?

I'm thinking Vergil/Urizen consuming the Qliphoth fruit also gave him a massive power boost, on top of revising him completely once Urizen (his devil side) reunites with V (his human soul/memories). So as a result, he's able to match Dante's power levels during their final battle..

What important to note is that Vergil has mastered his form to the point where he can still speak during SDT. Dante, while learning to accept more of what he is, still repressed his demon heritage for a majority of his life, hence why he cannot transform to SDT as easily as his brother, and cannot speak during it. He just growls and roars

Unlike Dante, he uses SDT without normal DT because he prefers to get it done, rather than mess around and try to have fun. In his mind, Power is above all, so he pours his Devil Trigger into Doppleganger, and uses his Sin Devil Trigger as his Devil Trigger.

Also I think the reason Dante can't cancel his SDT is because it is a new form that he didn't get used to yet, (except when you have quadruple S, and even then you can only cancel it briefly right after Activating it)

This actually makes a lot of sense considering the fact that his SDT uses an extended version of his normal moveset while Dante's moveset is completely different in SDT.

Dante just gradually increases his power to defeat his enemies. He likes the challenge and fun of a fight.

Vergil just overwhelms his enemies with sheer power. Vergil likes to get things done quick and efficiently.

The implied lore reason is that both Dante and Vergil literally don't have normal DT's anymore. Their SDT replaces it. The only reason Dante can in gameplay is because.. It's gameplay. And it'd be stupid to just delete the regular DT mechanic from his ability set.

Vergil embracing his humanity powered him up. Dante on otherhand embraced his Devil blood. Both twins are literally 2 sides of the coin, mirroring one another. I hope we get to play as Sparda and unveil his history. I do feel like he is still alive somewhere in Hell since his fate was fogged with mystery.

Also Dante's animation when he comes out of sdt causes him fatigue whereas Vergil doesnt

Iirc, Vergil got his DT years before Dante did in DMC3. So that extra level of experience with his DT could've resulted in more control over his SDT?

I think the reason Vergil was able to mastered his DT so fast is the fact that my guy is more of precision, Vergil utilize Iaido and Iaido is a speed and precision sword style that needs ALOT and ALOT of precision to master. I think Vergil also did the same when he was mastering DT

You forgot the part that he can end his sin DT at will. Unlike Dante who will be stuck if you don't meet the requirements. Also, his sin DT can use ultimate up to 3 times while dante only once
