Just the surface area of the 110 speakers overshadowed the x20 in bass response…it wasn’t a fair comparison, but that said, with that discrepancy, the x20 held its own, even performed above its expectations. This video helped push me towards getting the x20, thanks Jay….you, Jagist and A.Ross were my go to’s on this decision!

both speakers are great. but its not fair to match between boombox style and party box speaker. and it is sealed vs ported..

I ordered the X20 and it arrives tomorrow. I have two Encores that I know will be better sounding, but this is for my bathroom and I can set the X20 on top of the toilet tank. My Encores are sitting on the floor on each side of the toilet. I'm willing to sacrifice a little sound quality for the convenience of 1 X20 speaker. It's a bit of a pain to turn both Encores on and pair them in TWS every time I want to have a listen. But if the Encores are very noticeably better, I'll put up with the inconvenience and I will keep them and return the Wking. I'm hoping the X20 surprises me.😅

Is it just me, or is the bass boost on the X20 center frequency set too high? Seems like it's centered at 70-80HZ, when it should be centered at 45 - 50. It muddies up the mids considerably.

Bigger speakers always going to sound better. I own x20 also great speaker but you ain't got to beat that JBL with bigger woofers

I’m definitely a JBL fanboy, but that wking x20 is something else. I bought one to try out, can’t wait to give it a go.

As a JBL fanboy I admit that the w-king’s are soo good speakers.


For me the worst speakers of JBL are the pb’s 110 and 1000
