It's nice I'm no longer the first to comment! Anyway here are some more advanced tips, hopefully you find them useful. Now it's time for more truck guides so let me know what you want to see :)

Neutral is useful. If using an autonomous winch, you can cross water without a snorkel by turning the engine off and winching. But in Neutral it seems to have less engine braking and so it goes faster.

Here’s a tip. Don’t drive like a lunatic. When I first started playing I got the first pickup on a raised chassis with the largest Off-road tires and the best engine. Went full speed and almost tipped into a ditch. Don’t drive fast, drive smart.

Another great tip is keeping an eye on the auto save, you can quickly quit the game sometimes and get reloaded just before you tipped and lost your precious 4hr job cargo or got stuck

Maybe a handy tip - with an autonomous winch I recently managed to drag my out of fuel scout to its goal and then onwards a considerable distance through trees to within refuelling range of a parked tanker. Was one of those lands with no garage so it was worth it.

To use neutral properly, also turn off the engine and watch gravity to it's thing. It's great on a nice paved downhill slope, you can catch some massive speed even with big slow trucks, which then immediately translates to a nasty crash at the bottom of the hill, but hey, if you want downhill speed with neutral, perfectly doable.

Another tip: double offroad rear tires are generally better than single mud rear tires.

I have 2 tips.
1. Use (low) or (low-)on steep hills for hill decent control.
2. If you are having trouble maintaining traction in Alaska. Drive with one side of your truck in the snow. But be warned it can get you into trouble. Because of ditches, trees etc.
Stay safe and healthy.

Need more "pull me forward" out of a winch? Pull from front bumper up to your anchor, disconnect, attach REAR bumper to same anchor and get another truck-length of fwd winching.

Another tip similar to the wheelie one Is use the crane as counter balance.

I needed to drive along a path that sloped down to the right i had a cargo of steel beams on the back and it was about to tip me down the hill, so i unpacked the cargo lifted it with the crane and moved it over the up hill side, drove past the sketchy part of the road and then re loaded and packed the cargo.

Another tip - when using a controller and you don’t like the steering you can change the steering input in setting/game/steering mode and switch between controller and steering wheel. When using a controller and have it on steering wheel mode it will act like all other car/racing games like forza or gta. Will cause automatic centring when using controller in this mode

-On PC alt+F4 will have you respawn at the last quicksave point once you reopen the game.
-The wider the tire the better : Dont dig into mud and have more traction on them.
-Mud tires > chained tires if the ice deforms or breaks, as it is coded as mud as well.
-If a route looks like its supposed to be driven, it usually isnt or has major obstacles (Rubber trees and massive rocks)
-You can carry logs unpacked in the sideboard trailer up to 24 medium stacked 12 over 12 and 12 long logs as 6 over 6: No more 100 trips to deliver 6 log loads. Manual loading required
-Ground (mud, road and snow) and objects are different in traction. Even if rocks should have 10/10 bite on offroad tires, they dont as they have next to 0 traction.

-Tartarin is a must find scout, it pulls everything easily through the deepestmud and can ace all contests but one (quarry race I think)
-Low gear lowers your CG in quite a few trucks
-Difflock is a mere suggestion in game, under high load the diff slips either way
-unlike spintires and mudrunner, trucks can now be packed too if they are on a bed or trailer
-rescue cars are considerably heavier than your owned ones
-unpacked loads are significantly lighter than packed ones, unpacked cars are opposite
-The winch can be used as a grappling hook/ turning aid
-High saddle trailers have a massive ground clearance issue, use only on gentle slopes
-Special objective trailers are not dropping their load EVER, you can pull them with the winch once detatched without worry
-if you want to know if a trailer is needed for an objective, try the delete trailer option, it wont show on needed trailers

One tip is to use clutch LB/L1 is you want to change gears quickly.
For example, if you are in automatic gear (4th or 5th gear) and you drive through deep mud, normally the truck will stop and restart in 1st gear, but if you tap clutch button, you gearbox will go to 1st or 2nd gear without stopping, it'll be easier that way.
It can work the other way also
Not sure if I explain it correctly^^
Nice video again

Having played like 20 hours of spin tires. I hopped into snow runner expecting nearly the same thing. I was not disappointed. AT ALL. it takes the best of spintires and adds to it drastically. For the better. I love the personalization of everything in snowrunner.

Using the parking break while in 4wd can assist in tighter turns with some vehicles. Works like a dig kit.

The Crane is also great to push youself out of the mud, if there is nothing to attache the winch.

A very useful little trick I found today is that when you're sick of your truck being sluggish when getting up to reasonable speed, start with high range and when it hits it's top speed switch to auto. This way you don't need to row through the gears and skip to 6 or 7 instead. Useful when you're in a hurry (me all the time)

Even though I seem to be past most such tips I still watched the full vid because it was so enjoyable :) o wait WHAT trailer shops can fit the corresponding saddle??
Four potentially handy remarks/tips:
1) As in 8:40 I also use that pre-empt winch technique for sharper cornering with trucks like an Azov...
2) When in crane mode --> push right stick (camera btn) to change camera viewpoints to better align the hook/cargo.
3) When you tipped over and your engine is still running AND you have a crane equipped you can use the crane mode to push your truck upright. Handy in cases where there are no winch points near you or when winching trees isn't dragging the truck upright.

4) If the spare wheel upgrade is attached behind the truck cab, like on the taiga, it will take space (just as a crane or a cabin protector) and you'll have to choose.

Great job on these videos! I learned a bit from a few tips I didn't know about. Thanks!

Here's a Pro tip for YOU. If you are pulling a particularly long or heavy trailer through some nasty muddy terrain with very few winch points, you can get yourself much further forward using trick. Once you have winched your truck next to the only tree in winch range, manually reattach your winch from the rear of your trailer to the same tree. This will pull your vehicle forward till the truck AND most of the trailer are past the tree and you can hopefully reach a new winch point by then. Give it a try! And keep up the good work!
