Urbanization can lead to depletion of resources and saltwater intrusion in the hydrologic cycle. Impervious surfaces are human-made structures- such as road, buildings, sidewalks, and parking lots- that do no allow water to reach the soil, leading to flooding.

Additionally, when walking or biking, you are taking more cars off the street. I find it very annoying to go to stores because I have to cross busy roads, which you here about someone dying on every once in a while. If people walk, it’s much safer for everyone.

Cities aren’t affordable for most people, work on that, that will help the environment more than some government infrastructure plan.

They own all the land. So, then what happens is they market too you. Its horrible. They urbanized not urbanizing.

it's just too bad most of this is wishful thinking. there are downsides to just building up too. biking and walking is in fact dangerous and impractical in most cities.
