DJI Osmo Action 4 vs Action 3, is the upgrade still worth it?

After 8 months and various firmware updates later, do I still consider the DJI Osmo Action 4 a worthy upgrade from the DJI Osmo Action 3?

Investing in minor upgrades now may not be the most financially savvy move, especially with the highly anticipated release of the DJI Osmo Action 5 looming on the horizon.

I agree with both of your reasons and I have one more that I especially like for my videos. The A4 also works perfectly with the DJI wrist remote which captures GPS data and automatically puts it in the video file in the camera. The A4 camera, mic 2, and wrist remote connect automatically after pairing them the first time. After powering up all three units, they automatically connect and then all three start and stop with a press of the remote. Best of all, it works every time! Love your channel!

The Action 3 has a phenomenal deal of just $300 with the Adventure Combo now!
And that comes with 3x Extreme batteries!
This is important especially if reliability is the priority as I will be using this primarily as a body dash cam for riding my e-scooter!

Might as well buy this right now then wait for Action 5 for Black Friday sales this year for a dedicated, primary vlogging cam!

Sold my Action 1 for 150 and got the A4 for $300, pretty happy so far, the quality and stabilization is so good, the magnetic mount is super convenience :)

They need to conquer the overheating problem when using the camera for long amounts of time.. i never had that problem with the OA1
