"What's the difference between a cult and a religion? In a cult, there's someone at the top who knows it's all bs. In a religion, that person has died long time ago."

We are born Whole, Complete, and Worthy. Religion attempts to convince you otherwise.

This man was right, and he would turn in his grave if he saw the state of the US. 😥

Listening to the Hitch gives me more comfort than any religion could.

I was a 5 year old child when I told my extremely religious Catholic parents that I didn’t believe in Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny and God. That was over 50 years ago. At no point were the people who taught Sunday School, Catechism or the 12 years of Catholic School, ever able to give me verifiable evidence that confirmed the existence of God. All they had was faith which is the belief in something that they could not prove. Faith in one’s belief is evidence of nothing.

I wish I had heard about Hitchens before he passed away. What a phenomenally intelligent man as well as public speaker.

I have never felt so free in my life until I learned that I am not alone in seeking the answer to the questions I kept in my mind for so long. I wish I heard about Hitchens when he was still alive. But atleast now I know there are more like me in this world. People who learned to ask and seek for what is the truth. Thank you for the greatest gift for humankind.

Religion and cancer have a lot in common. The more aggressive and fast spreading they are, the more malignant and damaging.

sends shivers down my spine to now know how accurate he was about the blurred line between church and state in today's post 45 world.🤬

It's so sad that the overwhelming majority of mankind still have caveman ideas on how the universe works.

Hitch was so right and the problems he spoke of have gotten so much worse.

It really is a shame how Religion takes advantage of a persons interest for higher emotional intelligence. Philosophy and psychology hits alot better than vague abstract ambiguity.

Left Mormonism 10 months ago. It was tough as its ingrained in my entire culture and my family are big believers. It was allot of crying and trying to figure out what was next. Therapy helped and also learning more about Mormonism and its horrible history. I found Christopher's book "God is not good" and it really helped. I am so lucky that my faith crisis happened when I was 26 and not 62. Then I would have wasted so much of my time and money (10% of everything for Mormons). But now I truly have more enlightenment than I did when I had faith. Strange.

If human knew 2000 years ago what we know now, the Bible would never have been written. Excellent point.
We are so far ahead of these barbaric, ignorant tribesmen it's shameful that parents and educators are forcing children to learn this rubbish.

Oh Hitch, how we miss you . A truly inspirational man. And a better moral ethos than most. He held himself to a high standard

I wish I could hijack every TV on the planet, and just play this video for an hour a day on every single channel.
For a 100 years
