Thoughts on Mordekaiser's Rework

Additional comments on Mordekaiser's Ultimate and kit...

I don't necessarily believe that Mordekaiser's old ultimate (Children of the Grave) is bad, it's just a very swing-state type of ultimate. It can turn around a fight but it doesn't really do it in the way a champ like Mordekaiser should (in my opinion). Morde is all about him and his mace, which is why I appreciate the stronger focus on using his melee attacks and having a CC ability that allows you to bring people close in to then hit them with said mace. If I were to reintroduce Morde's old ult into League, I'd probably add it to a support character that could more effectively use it in a bot lane setting, as attempted by prior patches. Or perhaps a mid lane mage, but I'm not sure how well that would work in a solo lane.

You're right about the linear ult design, I feel like there was a lot more potential for this rework but I guess this is better than nothing. I'd rather have waited longer for a better rework though.
