Climb on the hill with your tank where you can see enemy base, build a relay bunker there so you can control your main base then shoot with your rifle to kill enemie's vehicles pilots. Start your jet motor, get in to enemie's vehicle. Come back on hill. You can do this many times. You will enjoy more :) what days were

good preparation but it seems your assault strategy may have been a bit ambitious. I'd suggest setting up the turrets at that gap between your forward mine and the enemy base which also happened to be your attack/retreat corridor. The turrets(keep them out of range of that gun "spire" of course) would be used to keep that area clear of patrols and drain their resources as they keep replacing the units they have roaming around there. After thats set up go in with your scouts and tanks (leave your msl tanks formed up ready to strike but have them standby) You were lucky they hadn't built many turrets yet. Once you engaged any active/mobile sentries draw them back(one by one if possible) toward your turret positions and fight them there. While your doing that THEN send your misl strike craft in all at once to all targeting that "matriarch" structure you were going after and once they start their run close in to support them with your remaining initial raid party especially to kill off any units they build on the spot. Basically I'm suggesting attack in a couple of stages and try to dedicate a division of your force to take out the primary target while you and your skirmishers keep the guards busy. This might work vs ai. Human opponents may be too unpredictable to rely much on a measured strategy like this though. For them it always seems better to use shock and awe tactics as cover for 1-3 contingency plans and a strike force ready at all times to take advantage of targets of opportunity that occurs when someone makes a serious mistake.

what on EARTH is all that in your thumbnail?! I've played this extensively and seen none of that. Even in the editor. Is that some wild mod tools?


Edit, yep, its a mod pack. Check the steam community tabs for the game. I do not remember which one, but it's there.
