Battlezone II: Combat Commander is a hybrid tank shooter, first-person shooter and real-time strategy video game, developed by Pandemic Studios, and published by Activision in December 1999. It is the sequel to the 1998 game Battlezone, in which players pilot various futuristic vehicles across different planets, along with building and managing additional units and structures. The game's story focuses on a conflict during an alternative 1990s period, in which humanity explores space for resources only to encounter an alien race in the process that they become locked in combat with. Although met with great ethusisasm, the game generated negative reviews due to bugs and other complaints by players.

A remastered version was released in March 2018 under the title Battlezone: Combat Commander on the gaming platforms GOG.com and Steam.

This was a brilliantly original title, which was a mixture of Command and Conquer blended with original Battlezone arcade game! Whilst it was quite difficult, it remember it didn't feel overly frustrating and it a piece I feel I should revisit and play again soon! PS I remember buying the expansion and loving that too !

Hi there ! So much memories... :). how did you manage to install it on windows 10 ? I got the original CD and the installer doesn't run. I've kept the Forgotten ennemies mod installer it's a great mod with new campaign and 2 news factions.

Hola, Lguna vez jugue un Demo del Battlezone, era diferente a este, era cono en una tierra primigenia con dinosaurios y arboles entre sierras, y se veia con mejores graficos, habia un tanque que lanzaba misiles increibles pero con poca munición... Era increíble
