HOW TO CUT JEANS INTO SHORTS ✂️👖

I've been repurposing a few skinny jeans lately into mid-length bermuda shorts and wanted to show you how I do it. I was SO ready to buy some new (longer) shorts this year, then realized I could just make them with jeans that I already have. It's super easy and such a great way to bring new life to an old piece of clothing and make it wearable again... for
free!

Going to give this a go on some old threadbare jeans. Trying to find shorts in my size is an issue as I fall most times between the large and normal size and there isn't much there in my country. Also when one does find shorts they can in many cases cost more than a pair of Jeans! Going to do what my mom did with some guys shorts that we managed to find that I could wear. Going to add a cuff around the end of the shorts with some bits of colourful material. It works great! Had many a complement on the shorts my mom had done. No one realised they were not made that way, nor that they were not girls shorts, Lol.

Hey are those 100% cotton ? I have a pair of Levi’s skinny that look super similar but they are 85% cotton, 12% polyester and 3% elastane. Would that tutorial work on my jeans too ? Thanks !

After several times washing and drying raw hemmed jean shorts, does the fraying keep getting worse and worse (or does it stay close to the bottom of the shorts)? I’ve always wondered after years and years of wear, how do they hold up with no hem?
