I believe they’re called gussets. Sometimes these are added to the sides of paper bags and file folders with multiple pockets. And the folding style can be referred to commonly as accordion style folds. I hope that helps! Love this idea so much! The tabs really add some pops of different colors and patterns. It’s such a lovely collaged item altogether really. I am a fan of florals as well and love pairing them with geometric patterns like stripes, polka dots, chevrons, hearts etc. Very excited to try yet another pretty project from you!
