I'm from West bengal and tbh we Bengalis speak better English than any other ethnic groups becoz here ppl are LITERALLY obsessed with english*call it a colonial hangover* but it's just that we know more of English and Literature than anyone cuz English education was first established here in Bengal . Not offended. But Bengalis don't pronounce 'w' as 'b' or 'bh'. Biharis do that. Bengalis break it down to simpler long drawn vowels. For instance 'water' will be 'o-aa-taar'. 'Wish' will be 'u-ish'. Bengalis can't pronounce short vowels.
