She was the whistle-blower; revealing the incompetence of the doctors and consultants. They span it around and made Lucy a scapegoat.

I hope lucy can watch this and for all the support she is getting. The people who's fault this is are walking free .let her out the people who done this should be on trial.

when she is freed those who put her away need to be examined thoroughly

And why wouldn't they? We stand by you too and will not cease to demand the whole truth until she is released.

This is agonising, what use is UK justice if it is this inflexible?

And there are those of us who will never give up on Lucy! Not ever! ! Until the day you are set free and exonerated and apologised to, you and your parents, I, for one, will not give up! Nobody will change my mind. I am so grateful for all those clever people out there who speak the truth, who back you with wisdom and incredible knowledge. Be sure - God will get those guilty of this unspeakable injustice. Their time will come...

If the NHS are allowed to continue to get away with scapegoating lovely Lucy, It will happen again . LUCY IS 100% INNOCENT.

It is so tragic what they have done to Lucy. She is innocent and should have a fair retrial now.

From the beginning, my gut feeling told me this was all wrong & this conviction will eventually come back & bite a few people's arses!

The same Richard Gill, the Statistician who helped exonerate the Netherlands' Angel of Death, Lucia de Berk, said this about the Letby stats:

"You have to factor in the number of hours each nurse worked, you must take account of the difference between day shifts and night shifts, you must take account of the fact that half of the nurses in the police spreadsheet are agency nurses or bank nurses.

Higher qualified nurses get the hardest shifts. Lucy was the highest qualified!!!! They had fired all the older nurses.

The police indubitably had the complete clock in and clock out data of all the nurses but did not use it.

What you must also do is write down a working criterion of "suspicious incident' and go through all the medical notes of all the babies, looking for all of them.

Instead, the police was given a small selection of medical notes chosen by the consultants together with an initial version of the spreadsheet compiled by same consultants."

The CoCH was in the process of settling a £8million negligence claim over the 2014 death of baby Noah in 2016. The regional offices of Slater-Gordon(?) had issued notice to them of impending claims for negligence over further deaths. They needed someone to blame, or it was going to be their necks on the line. LL was the patsy. All their negligence was swept under the carpet, and all the faults were down to LL. It's a terrible injustice, and even the Appeal Court judges pointed out that one of the consultants was lying. The truth is being uncovered, so now they're trying to shut it down with further charges against her, meaning that publicly discussing her case would become illegal (again!).😢

Something sounds wrong all the evidence wasn’t presented to the jury.

There is a massive outpouring of comment regarding Lucy's conviction right across the United Kingdom the like of which in my lifetime I have never witnessed. This ranks as one if not the greatest potential miscarriage of justice in modern times. There have always been cases where doubt has crept in after the guilty verdict but I can't remember one at this level before. Even Sally Clarke's wrongful conviction didn't reach the same level of intense feelings. Those practising within the legal professional field including barristers and judges are not immune to sentiments about this case. they listen to the news and read papers too. The only difference is unlike the rest of us, they but can't be seen to pass personal judgement, comment or opinion on the matter. I suspect many of the original jurors are having sleepless nights as a result of additional evidence that has now come to light that they weren't made aware of when they made their decision that ultimately destroyed her life. They may still have their doubts but I suspect many of them may have come to a different conclusion. I truly believe this case can only ever go one way. It is just a matter of time and due process...

I wonder how many people convinced of her innocence have written to their MPS asking questions.

Beautiful. Also, I liked the way you had Judith Moritz there as someone who is initiating all this praise of Lucy. She doesn't get chance to try and pour cold water on it. Of course, why take the word of Dr Evans, who decided she was a murderer in 10 minutes, when they have their own experience of her over many years.

Horrible and inhumane handling of a case based on two men’s wounded vanity !!

There needs to be a full public inquiry into this case, its conduct and the safety or otherwise of conviction. In needs to be made clear that any failure of the case against her warrants complete public exoneration.
