I’ll never forget. In fact, when I got my first ever order, I went on Facebook and friended Lindsay immediately! I know, I know…WEIRD, but I was just tooooooo excited! A human who didn’t know who I was (I was nobody) took a chance on a random “brand” on the internet. In my eyes, that meant she took a chance on me, and that meant the world.

I actually like this sentiment. More business should take this route. It only takes one person to take a chance on your product to help encourage you as a small business owner starting out.

My first purchase from my small jewelry business was from a very sweet lady in her 50s that lead worship at our church. I started my business when I was 11, so it was a while ago. The lady had a jewelry business of her own, and she made amazing turquoise jewelry, and other jewelry made of beautiful stones. I remember thinking how cool it was that one of my biggest inspirations was buying my very first piece of jewelry from me, and I’ll always remember my first order ❤
