Can we meet the head of design, we just want to talk.

I actually kind of like the look, especially in Zanzevoort blue. It's aggressive and the grill isn't too big.

Since the chef engineer is here, why not ask him about the weight of the car?

Excellent video and explanation of the systems available in an M car. I love the flexibility of suspension, steering, and traction controls. Could easily get you into trouble though and you might have to steer the car looking through the back window.

BEST INTERVIEW in the WORLD i have seen about the M2 straight from the Designer. EXCELLENT 10/10 or #1 / 9001 other reviews of the new M2, it puts the car into perspective of the line and the custom driving dynamics. You can tell he Loves His Creation and will OWN a Manual of his very own.

I like that you can adjust traction control because some times you want to do small drift around the city but don’t wanna take traction control fully off 😅I drive my brz with traction control fully off everyday but I don’t think I can do that with a 400hp car I’ll end up in a wall🤣

I like the wheels, and it the car looks great in red too. Excellent engineering of the S58. He should be proud of his work. And then there’s the designers with their ideas…

The M2 looks great overall, but I’m getting used to the front grill (seems to be a common theme with BMW design).

I’m an advocate of Toyota reliability, but having owned Toyota and BMW I realize there are manufacturing details in BMW that do not exist in the Toyota product line. Just look at that under hood image, body color painted hinges and clear coated paint. That does not exist on Toyota and perhaps other off premium manufacturers as well. These are nice cars, reminds me of the 2002’s I remember from the early 1970’s.

Fantastic job! This body is incredible

As a manual m2 owner: it needs a short shifter kit. Once you start punching it, you start missing gears. It's hell

Great interview. This is the missing menu on the drift control - took 6 minutes to go thru the settings and explain the new control loop from DSC to ECM. Funny that not quite getting a straight answer on how best to launch. In engineering, it’s always “depends”. 😂 Amazing design.

I'm so thankful they kept a manual option available! I was disappointed when they removed the manual option on the M3/M4 Competition Package trims.

Coming from e46 and e90 m3 back in 2001 and 2008, you always kinda get screwed for buying the first model year. This time I will be geting the last model year, last iced m2. Whether they will launch a competition model then or not ultimately it comes down to having a manual or not for me. Hopefully you can individually select carbon buckets seats then. Paying 10k for the carbon package which only adds roof with the seats seems silly although m2 itself is a performance bargain since everything is shared with m3/4 costing thousands more. Personally the rear fenders and quarter panel is the best m car next to mz3 coupe. Gloriously fat fenders like the 993 turbos is a welcome sign for this model

Man I love it, but it's a bit pricey since I'm coming from Mustangs and now a 1320 Scat. Almost makes me want to go back to a manual, but autos are quicker and I use the remote start all the time especially in winter. IDK if they ever lower interest rates and can get a decent trade in on my 1320 then maybe it's doable. But then again the 25 may be a beast with awd. Question is how much more will it cost?
