Radiation therapy is a common treatment for cancer but it often leads to tightness and thickened or hardened muscles and tissue. Radiation fibrosis syndrome is the side effect that can linger on for months to years. This is when the tissue - including muscles, tendons, ligaments, skin, and more - are damaged, hardened, or scarred in the area that was radiated. In this video, I share the 4 main treatments to manage and improve radiation fibrosis and tightness.

I had my surgery in 2003 and have limited range of motion due to radiation therapy. They never advised therapy for me. Has it been too long for therapy to be effective?
