Did you mean to say weighing them raw? Because i don’t think you can put the food as raw on macro tracking apps 😅

I guess he is saying that if you weigh cooked chicken breast, and say it registers 100g, it is higher calories than a 100g of raw chicken breast.

What do you mean it adds calories when cooked? I’m having a hard time understanding what you mean by this. Calories is basically energy. So when you cook something, some of that energy/calories are broken down thus making it lower in calories right?

I can see how there would be an increase in calories if oils/ingredients aren’t taken into consideration when preparing your meal.

If you weigh them cooked it would weigh less than if you weighed raw, so how is it adding calories if you’re weighing “less” food
