19 Ranks in the Imperial Guard Heirarchy

The Imperial Guard is the backbone of the military of the Imperium, not the astartes, not the custodes or the sisters. The astra militarum is not doubt the hammer of the Imperium, they are also the shield and the wall that guard the realms of men. These r the Trillions of normal people holding the humble lasgun in the dark, fighting against the horrors of the galaxy, a vast majority are men while there are a minority that are women too, all that are conscripted to fight for the very light of the Emperor. They originated as the Imperial army during the Great crusade and were only formed after the heresy where the terrestrial force, the astra militarum was split apart from the space force, the Imperial navy. And with the break up, the Guard became a separate organization with its own set of ranks and hierarchy of authority within itself. And so here in this video we will discuss just that and make sense of the rankings in the Astra Militarum along with others that is mixed with it.
