Older bikes are easier to fix usually too and Less complicated.

Hell yeah they matter. I had a 1986 FZ750 that was the most fun bike to ride (it was the street legal version of the OW-01 race bike.) I was forced to sell it because of my see you next Tuesday sister. I had rebuilt that bike from salvage and put over 45k miles on it with no major issues (and no valve adjustment needed).

I’ve always owned bikes without ABS or any rider aids or crazy technology and it’s always so much more fun when you have a RAW riding experience….PAUSE!

Im still happy with my 2007 r1. Everyone wants new bikes. Im not pushing it too hard on the street to need all the electronics and enjoy riding a bike i dont see everyday anymore plus i payed cash for it over 10 years ago and new bike prices are crazy nowadays.

I think its funny sometimes, riding a 2024 Yamaha with about 200hp is basicly fine for most semi skilled riders but riding a 1995 140 HP bike would kill most of them

Tech is great on bikes.
You can turn it off if you want.
It’s absolutely needed on the nutty power to weight ratios of modern bikes. 208hp naked bikes is common now. ABS, Traction control and wheely control are extremely useful on these. They allow you extract the most power without wheel slide, front end lifting too much etc. not everyone is Valentino Rossi, even seasoned riders.
As I say you can switch everything off if you’re a dope.

None of my older bikes had tech, plenty of scetchy situation down through the years. They also weren’t 208 hp!

Those bike nannies are good until a fuse blows, then you see who has skills ! I love Suzuki they hardly ever brake and the seating position is comfortable.

How tall is this guy? He’s making the Hayabusa look like a small bike!

Very simple. They have the lowest seat height of any sport bike. Just makes them more comfortable and easier to handle.

Just because you have 3 nice bikes, doesent mean all other machines are “outdated” or “forgotten”

Still fast? Gsxr still leads in power and still affordable 1/3 of the price of a ducati that does the same thing

The new gsxrs have all the same tech the other bikes have there just tuned down a bit, the gsxr engine makes the second most horsepower of any naturly asperated 1000cc, second to the ducati penegale v4 since pushing over 200 hp on a v4 is a lot easier than on a i4
