How to Convert Stroke into Shape in Illustrator

In this short tutorial I will show you how to convert stroke to shape in Illustrator. Create a shape with stroke and without fill, and with the shape selected go to object - path - outline stroke, then you can select the shape and right click and select isolate selected coumpound path - and select the shape and delete.
