BASS TRACKER 175 Leaking Water - Check THIS!

Today I noticed my bass tracker 175 was talking on some water in the bilge. After some time searching for the leak, I found it and you never guess where it was coming from! Let me know in the comments if you guys have a bass tracker thats leaking water.

Thanks for the video! I just got a tracker 160 and headed out a couple of times and after a while clicked on the bilge pump and nothing.
But today was the first day I filled up the live well and left the aerator on and after a while clicked on the bilge pump and it pumped for 10 minutes!
So now I have a good place to start. Thanks again!

2018 170. The first time I went out this year after a few minutes of the live well being on I noticed the water. Must be a pretty common issue. Thanks for the video!

Hi. Thanks for the video. I have a garage kept 2006 PT175 that does not see freezing temperatures. The original livewell pump is a Mayfair 3850 with a yellow housing. Like your issue, I was filling the livewell and water started coming up in the floor drain I installed year's ago. The nipple broke off inside the hose. When installing a new pump, I bumped the hose on the bilge pump next to it. It snapped off the same way and I didn't hit it very hard. It is the same brand with a yellow housing (model 3250). My word of advice... If you have old yellow plastic pumps, replace the whole units. These old Mayfair units do not have replaceable hose nipples like the red ones in your boat. The plastic gets brittle...

Mine is leaking too but I think mine is coming from fittings under the Live Well Drains because when live well has water in it I can hear the water leaking out into Bilge

I have a 2014 Tracker with a Garmin TRANSDUCER and it splashes water up into the boat I switched it from the right side of the prop to the left side (downward rotation) At high speed it would splash gallons of water into the bilge and when I would stop the pump would run for 30 minutes to empty all that water
Switching the transducer stopped the problem.

I test drove a boat yesterday. We went out about 1.5 hrs. As we ran around the boat was slower and slower, the. Wouldnt plane. I opened the center floor lid to see it full of water. I knew the plug was in because I had put it in myself. And the all weld hull is spotless. I said we gotta get outa here fast, as the bilge pump didnt work. The fuse for the bilge was blown, id guess due to the open connections for it being submerged under water. We made it back, pulled the boat out and tried to find where water got in. When we got back to his place I suggested putting a hose to the livewell intake hole at the back of the boat. I removed the plastic screen cap, hooked the hose, and the water was just pouring in. It looked as if the pump had maybee froze and expanded, so that the top of the pump was no longer sealed.
He ordered a new one, and a new bilge because the next fuse we installed blew. Parts should be in from amazon on wednesday, and I hopefully pick up my new boat Saturday. Its definitly something to look out for on these and must be drained well if you live somewhere that freezes in the winter..
It almost cost him his boat.

My 2024 is leaking down the right side at higher speeds coming down the floor against the side wall .1st time in the water was on 4/1/2024 when I noticed it.Any idea where or what maybe causing it. I'll be contacting the dealer tomorrow only had the boat a week

My boat never leaked I took that pump out cause it was seized I was suspecting this

I don’t get it? You have your live well filled when you’re not using it? Does it come in if the live well’s empty? I don’t get it. 🤷🏻‍♂️
