Man I really hope he at least instills some of that “acid trip” idea into the finished film. I think it’s really important to show the spiritual realm so that people can understand how much more real it is than the physical world. With modern CGI I’m sure Mel could really nail that type of visual concept. I’m really looking forward to this film, The Passion remains one of my favorite films ever, it really helps me stay spiritually grounded and close to Jesus. I have made a recent sort of ritual to watch it every Sunday after Mass, even if just in the background while I’m cleaning house or working on artwork.
