Calculating dividends aren't as hard as it seems. You can calculate them in 5 easy steps to determine how much money you'll make either each month, quarterly, or yearly.
Dividends are paid by companies to their shareholders on a regular basis. When you buy shares of a company, you can get a certain percentage from those shares and they are paid out to you. This video will teach you how to calculate your projected return from dividends.

I just sold a property in Portland and I'm thinking of putting the cash in stocks, I know everyone is saying it's ripe enough, but Is this a good time to buy stocks? How long until a full recovery? How are other people in the same market raking in over $200k gains with months, I'm really just confused at this point.

Until you change your mindset, every opportunity looks fake and impossible to achieve, while you're still having doubts others are making moves towards greatness

good video young man. my dad had invested into canada life back in 1990 and he was getting around $500 quarterly. canada life did not pay out a dividend back then but, when they expanded they sent my dad a letter "we are expanding and do you want shares in the company?" and he said yes. i did not understand the concept back then but, it is a good way to make money. warren buffet makes money this way too and he loves dividends.

Im so confused please help. SCHD has a dividend yield of 3.58% and paid $2.64 per share in the past year. The dividend is paid every 3month. So if I have 100 shares of Schd

$2.64×100×3=$792.00per year?
Am I calculating this correctly?

Because when I look at their history payouts it is like $.50 per share.
Doesn't add up

Blessings to you young man. I’ve been investing for awhile now. My only wish is that I got started as young as you. Thank you for reaching out to our people. IMO this is the only way to achieve true independence and freedom. I’ve been giving classes for free for a long time. The more of us doing this, the faster we can lead our people out of poverty. Keep doing what you’re doing!

I have QYLD, and my dividends have been going down...but my shares have been going up. So I'm not sure how they calculate the dividend or if the dividend is going down overall, but it doesn't seem it's per share...
