About SIREN:
“Siren” takes us inside Bristol Cove—a coastal town known for its legend of once being home to mermaids. When the arrival of a mysterious girl proves this folklore all too true, the battle between man and sea takes a very vicious turn as these predatory beings return to reclaim their right to the ocean. The series stars Alex Roe (“The 5th Wave”) as Ben, a bright marine biologist who finds himself drawn to a mysterious new girl in town, Ryn, played by Eline Powell (“Game of Thrones”), who is a strange young woman with a deep dark secret. Fola Evans-Akingbola (“An American Exorcism”) stars as Maddie, also a marine biologist who works with Ben, and is highly suspicious of Ryn. Ian Verdun (“Life’s a Drag”) stars as Xander, a deep sea fisherman on a quest to uncover the truth; and Rena Owen (“Star Wars” Episodes II and III) as Helen, the town eccentric who seems to know more about the mermaids than she lets on. Based on a story by Eric Wald and Dean White who both serve as executive produces. Emily Whitesell (“Finding Carter”) is on board as Showrunner and Executive Producer. Brad Luff, Nate Hopper and RD Robb are also attached as executive producers.

This ritual was SUPER INTENSE and genius on so many levels!!! The first being that this transformation for me and I think others as well was more in line with what we thought of mermaids being like traditionally. Prior to this ritual Ryn's transformation in the water was more akin to a fish (i.e. the scales, color, and finger webbing), rather than a half fish/ half human one. Even when the military was describing her reproductive organs they were compared to that of a shark. Secondly, we learned that transformations actually strengthen them versus weakening them. Also, the scream that Ryn releases during transformation makes me cringe for her every single time. Thirdly, If the Ranch can be infiltrated by a mediocre news reporter (if that's who he truly is) imagine what the military will do to it. They are under prepared to say the least. Lastly, this is totally unrelated, but the military is winning on so many levels right now. They had Chris, and he went back to them. They did something with Nicole. They probably have poor Levi. And God only knows what was in the canister that Ryn, Ben, and Maddie took, because I doubt it's an embryo. The military just can't be trusted so low key I'm glad Ryn didn't get the so- called embryo. That other woman from the ranch who actually got the first "so-called" embryo deserves whatever is coming to her plot twist wise for screwing over Ryn, Ben, and Maddie. Just my two cents. NEXT EPISODE PLEASE!!!!

Beautiful to just see Ryn's legs in form of her mermaid tail and not any of her top half in mermaid form. It's almost similar to like with Madison (Splash), Aquamarine (Aquamarine, 2006, movie), Cleo & Emma (H2O, Just Add Water), and Siren (Scales Mermaids Are Real).

So I have a question that's been bugging me for a while. If there was a mermaid child would she be able to sing like Ryn and Donna could? Or would she have to be a certain age to have that ability?
