Still with Tesla stock, investors can never be sure what will happen next, bearish periods ultimately establish a new set of stocks to buy and watch while setting the stage for a robust new uptrend. I have been reading articles of people that grossed profits up to $250k during this crash, what are the best stocks to buy now or put on a watchlist?

The grid needs to have the power for the 800KWH architecture. Battery storage is needed Tesla/Nio Battery storage.

THANKS SAM, for sharing the future now🤗💚💚💚

Sam the only Jigsaw piece missing in Australia is access to charging (not speed) in regional areas for travelers. What about motels low speed charging if needed. Access not

I know home solar systems in Australia are quite cost effective. But to pay off a complete system install in a year sounds not feasible. Firstly a system has to have a lot of battery storage to store the generation of electricity during the day for use at peak times to be able to make large savings. Love to see a vid, Sam on how you achieve this sort of pay back even if it is only theoretical

Lucky Australia will enjoy the best EV technology and charging. One can imagine "Repo Man" being shot again in Australia using sleek EVs.

This kind of chargers we need for heavy trucks!

This blows away my Tesla Model 3 RWD Standard with 170 kW here in the US. In a few years EV fast charging will take about 10 minutes to reach 80%.

Gonna have to start sprinting to the bathroom to make it back before charging is done with an 800kw charging speed. And that's with me being a fast runner who trains!!!

7 minuets I could have filled my petrol tank in 3 minuets it still not fast enough 😂

Getting closer, I say 1, 000 kW is the magic number.... 10 minute charging for most vehicles. That's what mass EV adoption will require in the US.... And fast charging will have to be comparable price to buying gasoline. That's what you need when traveling on interstates, long trips etc. or when you're in a hurry. Charging at home is no problem when you're not....

Xpeng super chargers in Australia is a different question though. Interesting to see where the technology is going eventually short term. A bit like tesla superchargers in Tasmania, only one site for the entire state so far.

That's alot of heat charging that fast. Wonder what type of thermal management software they implemented?

Depends on how big the battery pack in 24 minutes is pretty normal for my Model 3, The 60kwh (57.5kw usable) battery in my RWD will charge at an average 85-90kw over that range as well - 90kw for 24 min = 36kwh added = 62% of my battery.

24 minutes to charge to 80 percent.
You could buy a Nio and go to a level 4 battery swap station and change the battery 8 times in 24 minutes.
But yeah, 24 minutes is great. You could hang out by a charging station for 24 minutes and surf on your phone.

One more hicup with that - even if you had a near by 800 kWh charger - it won't be at your home; so you'll be paying through the nose to use it.

Im not surprised. Other countries are way ahead of the U.S.

Hey Sam Evans, I believe in both charging infrastructure and battery. If your battery isn’t top notch, then the charging needs to make up for it and vice versa. If charging isn’t fast, then battery tech must be better

The news of 800kW charging is great but there is something missing from this announcement: Which EV or line of EVs is to benefit from this high fast charging rate? Fast chargers must be matched to fast charging capable batteries and Xpeng, evidently, doesn't yet have the vehicle to benefit from charging at this high rate. So, current EVs (Xpeng and non-Xpeng) won't actually benefit from the S5 charger. Only vehicles made at some time in the future will.

In the first seven months of 2024, the German automotive industry has faced significant challenges, leading to substantial job losses. The industry has struggled with several factors, including economic slowdown, supply chain disruptions, and declining exports. Specifically, the sector, including its suppliers, has lost approximately 50, 000 jobs during this period. These losses have been exacerbated by decreasing demand in key markets, such as China and the United States, as well as the transition towards electric vehicles.
