That 100kwh battery is bigger than the battery in the model Y. Would give that car over 400 miles of range and quick charging speed. Wow.. Tesla your getting your tech arse kicked. 10 minutes reduces charging congestion. LFP no rare earth better for everyone. Hats off to you Zeeker and Geely.

I rented a Polestar 2 for four months, no probs charging... Except for fleet Bolts using 350kw's. Back to ICE and... got in fight at gas stn! (Didnt move fast enough for some ahole).

I live in an apartment in Melbourne and our Body Corporate isn't allowing EVs and in particular in building charging due to fire concerns linked no doubt to our building Insurer not agreeing to cover us for an EV fire. Good to see EVs are getting safer w.r.t. fires but these big insurers need to be pushed to cover EVs as we are probably getting fewer fires now compared to IC cars. However, I still hear that it's not the frequency but the intensity or runaway fire aspect of EVs.

Dear Viking, can our electric grids handle such massive loads to handle such charging speeds? And even more important, in any big numbers?

Studies in the US show even a moderate increase in EV numbers, demanding a faster and better charging infrastructure, will cost hundreds of $billions in investment in the electric infrastructure. Money most countries don't have.

I'm going to wait another 6 months until I can charge in 5 minutes instead of 10. Thats how it works right?
Oh and how many 500kw chargers are there in the UK ... outside London.
It will take more than a 25 years to upgrade the electrical infrastructure to cope with the increased electricity demand, the government should have started it 20 years ago but they didnt. The reason we are not driving EV's right now is the lack of planning by successive governments.

Wonder what insurance would cost for this I shocked to learn in the USA a Cyber Truck costs $15, 000 a year for insurance.

FSD on this car is way more believable compared to a Tesla. Tesla removed USS and radar, and it does not even have stereo vision. This car has LIDAR. Just one year is a bit ambitious though.

Will still take 30 min to charge where I live, we only have 12 250kw chargers in a city of over 2 million!

US is putting a 100 percent tarrif hike on Chinese EVs. For those who think that Chinese EVs are no good and not saleable, why is this happening?
