Thank you for this video! Almost all other reviews don't tackle productivity tasks and only talk about gaming.

This video is actually incredible. As of my knowledge it's the only video on YouTube with real world results for the creative cloud

This video is older but the 5700G still performs GREAT even today and is pretty solid at only 65watt power-draw. Intel is out-of-the-water in wattage usage here at way over double! The 8core/16threads works really well and with a slight "overclock" will perform even better yet! I am really impressed with the 5700G performance as it exceeded my expectations! It's really "snappy" even with the 16Mb L3 cache. A great option paired with an external GPU for gaming.

Great video. Getting 5 of 5700g builds for my agency.

Currently I have r5 1600 + 1660ti builds so anything similar to this would work great. I know 5700g will be bit slower than 1660ti build but I'll get a second hand GPU later and turn these things into beasts.

this helped me a lot! thank you! 5700g seems solid considering the current state of GPU prices ♥

great video!
I currently use thei nternal graphics (Vega 8) but so far, so good, but
I'd like to purchase cheap RX 580 for the VRAM and the dedicated graphics.

Can a 5700g based system handle video editing as well as the Mac M1 based system? I prefer windows but graphics cards too expensive these days. I use davinci resolve 17 which I believe relies a bit more on the CPU. thx

I bought a 5700G along with a Giagabyte B550 Vision motherboard, and a Intel A380 card. I was only going to use the 5700G as a placeholder. But combined with the lil Arc 380 card, I don't think I'll need to upgrage. I over clocked the intel card by 30%, and a lil overclock on the 5700G. I also have 64 gigs of ram. I had to do a lil trickery because I'm actually using a 4K TV as a monotor, the intel card would not output HDR. as of March7th withe latest AMD drivers, It will use HDR. In Adobe it will recoginize the the lil intel card. Really impressed so far.

Would be nice to see what happens if you mix a 5700g with a GPU

This would be a good comparison with resolve, adding in fusion clips too! Giving the system more ram allowance on the graphics side of things, if needed.

Oh thank you so much im so sick and tired of gaming bencmark till this video popped up in my youtube recommended channel. i guess skynet really is coming afterall

So basically, if someone needs a cheap rig for video editing, a system with 5600G and no discrete graphics is not too bad. In a market where there are no $100 useable GPUs, that's great news.

Thank you, i had to sell my gpu and cpu to get a 5600g. Glad to know i can edit on it.

Great vid! Planning to buy a 5600G myself, but do you know what is the best gpu to upgrade to in the future?

I've recently done a platform overhaul, upgraded to 5600g and ddr4 ram, paired it with my old faithful gtx 1060 6gb, and performance has been hugely improved over my old Phenom II1090T. I'd highly recommend the 5600g of you plan on pairing with a good gpu eventually

You can overclock the 5700g gpu to 2400mhz at 1.3v. It adds about 30 watts of power, totalling 120watt at peak. Also I have 16gb ramm and while gaming at 99% gpu use, the ram only goes to 95%. No need to buy 32gb
