Luigi becomes an Elder God

Luigi ate a forbidden mushroom. Now, he is reborn. Mario can only look on in horror as Luigi undergoes the ultimate transformation.

Accept Luigi into your heart. He is the divine authority that rules over the Mushroom Kingdom now. Bowser, Princess Peach, Wario, everyone... They have a new god to pray to for forgiveness.

I find it touching that, despite becoming a literal elderich being of horror, Mario still treats Luigi as his brother and shows him genuine concern for his well-being after the transformation.

Luigi went on to create a perfect world. A world where he and Mario could live peacefully, forever. He made Mario into an iconic hero to repay him for all the kindness he had shown to him in the mortal world. We know it as the Mushroom Kingdom. A place where Mario's kindness and heroic personality could shine. Sometimes, Luigi would take on human form to join his brother on adventures. Sometimes they played sports together, drove go carts around and even hosted giant boardgame nights with their friends.

All things considered that was actually a very wholesome end. Even as an eldritch God beyond pitiful human thoughts he still remembers his beloved brother. Sure Mario may end up as a horrid mushroom flesh lump, but he would be happy.

Luigi, in all his infinite wisdom, knew that while he was once a side character, his brother always gave him the kindness and respect he deserved. This is why Mario became the first disciple. The Super Mario Bros will reign over all. All hail Luigi. God of gods.

Luigi gets what he desires but Instead of becoming an "Elder god" he becomes an "Elderly god".

I like this ending. Luigi and Mario are actually caring brothers, rather then the typical dynamic people go with of them hating each other.

I’d like to think when Luigi was transforming, he moved as far away from Mario as possible to possibly not bury him under the fungal roots or in general avoid hurting him

Something I appreciate about this video and the Sweaty Luigi one is it characterizes Mario and Luigi as being good brothers to each other. In both vids Luigi could have easily killed Mario but he doesn’t cause Mario actually does treat Luigi right. Too many cartoons on YouTube are “Haha Luigi hate Mario cause Mario more popular” and I’m glad Lumpy goes in the opposite direction

Soon, he would fall into a deep slumber thereafter, waiting for the day when his powers were needed again.

After all, legend says that those who have strength beyond mortals can only achieve inner victory by doing absolutely nothing.

Truthfully, I just expected Luigi to just start talking as normal while the two of them argue about eating random mushrooms that you find like nothing horrific is happening

Once I saw the Elder God Luigi, I was thinking to myself "This would be a good time to play some Shadow of the Colossus music."

I was not disappointed.
