I remember when I first started supporting 4ocean and they seemed to be the only company around trying to save our oceans. Then I heard about the ocean cleanup and wanted to support them as well. Now I am happy to see that there are so many other companies that are cleaning up our oceans and it is bringing me such great joy! Thank you to all of these genius companies who saw a necessity and took it upon themselves to make a difference for our world and our future!

It is really important to note that these are reactive solutions and not proactive. They reactively help pick out the rubbish from seas and rivers wonderfully. They are half the battle as we need to also invest in structural changes that help developing economies that don't have adequate waste management systems. The scale of the amount of plastic entering our seas and rivers is so vast that small scale removal programs aren't able to make a dent. Having both reactive and proactice solutions are necessary in this battle. So don't think donating to reactive solutions is enough, vote in politicians who will look at infrasture etc.

The OceanCleanup has already removed well over 1, 000, 000 kgs of plastic from rivers and oceans and are busy ramping up operations massively. They say half the GPGPatch cleared in next 5 years!!! - their ambition and vision gives me so much hope. We owe these guys!!!

They all look great, but I think the most practical and effective machines are the waste bin and the interceptor, but still another concern is restricting plastic use, people all around the globe must be known how vital it is to protect the oceans more than ever. Thanks for the great vidsoe, Good luck .💙

I think that the most efficient out at sea is The Manta, as it makes energy out of waste and by crunching the plastic on board it can transport much more plastic. But for the rivers the automatic and hand steered collecting machines are very effective

I would really like to see this Manta project become a reality and assist The Ocean Cleanup in their efforts.

What needs to be addressed is the poor villages living next to rivers that don't have a means to properly dispose of their garbage.

The Pacific Garbage Screening looks so insane! Hopefully, it becomes a reality!

I feel like all these options have their merits. The majority of the oceans debris starts at river outlets and efforts should be placed there primarily. I am curious if the Musk's, Gates, Buffets etc. have ever been involved in this effort.

All the projects can be supported, but especially The Ocean Cleanup’s, Seabin and Everwave. They all support the UN’s Sustainable Development Goal 14: Life Below Water. I can’t wait till they all scale up globally.

80 percent collection from the rivers. That's a big deal.. Start with the Ganges River clean up. So that people can bath in clear water not in garbage and plastic wast. Thank you for what you are attempting .

Wow, this is truly awesome! I had no idea these were working vessels. Kudos to the inventors and all the crews. If we need to start at the source, cut way back on plastic products. But I’m thrilled to see this video!

3D render designs wont do jack
only the REAL ones deserve applause
OceanCleanup does what works and not what looks good and they know low costs are key
