China Warns US Navy Plane Over Disputed Spraty Islands | Coconuts TV

The Chinese Navy warned an US Navy Plane to leave airspace over the Spratly Islands that it claims in the South China Sea.

China has been piling rocks and sand on reefs in the Spratlys in order to set up military operations. The Spratly Islands are claimed by the Philippines, Taiwan, Malaysia, Vietnam, Brunei, and China.

Instead of blowing money on illegal island building, build a drive through and feed your starving citizens. This case is going to end up in a stand off. The American navy military is battle tested. They will not loose a fight on the water. Know that the Arctic region is in question here. Total domination of the shipping lanes followed by no fly zones and one of those Christofer Columbus claims to the Arctic. Those folks better get a better understanding of the English language

The said Asian Countries are fully aware of the environmental impact of excessive fossil fuel extraction, or any other concerns, for those are the cause of Tsunamis experienced in many countries. Asian Countries are fully aware of the clean up that must be completed in many shores, in many of its respective regions, countries as well, they should also be focused on the manner of preservation of GDP since it is the leading cause of environmental impact. The Spratly Islands is accounted/listed by UNESCO World heritage sites, it is to be preserved for many generations for its environment so as countries are not to experience the unprecedented changes in the environment from the unethical practices.

I think what everyone needs is a better understanding of the facts. First off, many people who don't know much about Geography think because as the name suggests, The South China Sea belongs to China, that's a flat out falsehood. The South China Sea no more belongs to China, than The Indian Ocean belongs to India. The South China Sea stretches for over 1.3 MILLION square Miles, and at places are more than 1000 miles from China. What's happening here is China is trying to Change things NOT the United States. In 2013 the UN told China they had no lawful claim to the South China Sea and condemned their building of Islands as illegal according to the UNCLOS convention. The U.S. has no desire to stop China from freely navigating the international waters of The South China Seas, but the U.S. can never accept China, or any other nation for that matter attempting to tell US ships they can't navigate International waters. That's a bedrock principal the U.S. Navy will never relent. To do so, would give Iran the ability to claim the straights of Hormuz, Russia can claim the Bering Strait, on and on where does it stop? Russian Submarines regularly park off the US coastline outside the 12 mile limit, and in The Gulf of Mexico, it's not ideal, but within Russia's rights. China needs to re-think what they are doing, because it will never be allowed to stand. I hope this makes sense, because this is the way the US will treat this matter, that's why the US sails ships there, and flies surveillance flights over the Islands, to demonstrate we will insist on continued freedom of navigation in international waters. Where I see a potential problem is China may not realize quickly enough that Trump will react to provocations very differently then Obama did. I'm confident if China steal another US drone under a Trump Presidency he will instruct the Navy to stop the Chinese ship, and take it back. The U.S. Navy is a very powerful force which has a long proud tradition, and unlike China's Navy the US Navy has been Battle tested, just ask Japan. I hope this can be settled amicably, but unless China modifies their position I'm not hopeful that will happen. One last thing Please get someone who speaks English better to communicate with US ships. You GO! isn't professional.
