This is a 3D animation of the Enterprise NX-01, Earth’s first warp five-capable starship. 🚀

Launched in April 2151 under the command of Captain Jonathan Archer, the NX-01 was the prototype of the NX-class—built for long-term exploration and scientific discovery. At 225 meters long with seven decks and a crew of 83, it was the most advanced Earth vessel of its time.

Equipped with Warp 5 engines, advanced sensors, and a powerful computer core spanning three decks, the NX-01 marked the beginning of humanity’s bold journey into deep space.

I feel this is one of the most logical and realistic Star Trek ships. One of my favorites. Great comprehensive breakdown.

NX-01 is my second-favorite starship. I love that it's very utilitarian but has an elegance in the design. I fell in love with it the first time I saw it. It 's beyond wonderful to be able to see it all laid out like this.

Awesome job! The thought that we put into this ship is finally earning it the love and respect that it deserves. You know the NX has fully arrived when you see the work and extrapolation put into developing it by fans. Kudos to all involved.

With apologies to the creator of this animation, there are a few mistakes on the configuration of the NX-class bridge: both the Science and Tactical station each had a secondary console facing the Captain's chair where the handrails are depicted. In addition, there was only one Helm console in front of the Captain's chair, manned by Travis Mayweather.

@4:27 you said the double hull and pylons could only be accessed with an environmental suit, but there is an episode of enterprise where the entire crew takes refuge inside one of the nacelles and just climb a ladder to reach to nacelle.

The cramped conditions on this really makes one appreciate the luxurious spaciousness and facilities on the Galaxy class!

This video was at a whole other level. Well done! You can really see how the NX-01 packed in people and systems. It was like a military submarine.

This ship and her crew’s uniform is my favorite.

Love these videos. The NX was probably one of my least favorite Enterprises on the outside but probably my favorite interior. Always felt like how an early deep-space starship would look. Even 20 years later it still holds up. Don't think I can say any of the other series' interiors do nearly as well. Can't wait for more of these.

I once, (2006 - 16) owned my own hobby shop and loved selling Star Trek models and building accessories to Trekkies like myself. I would hold the model shows contests and attend local Trek cons to highlight my business and my models there.. It was fun. Now I just keep collecting vintage kits

Thank you as always for making this video. I initially didn't know if I liked this ship or not when watching the series but it quickly grew on me. It felt like everything had purpose and we got to see how they had to fine-tune all of the systems whilst on mission because at this point they had not perfected the technology yet, and I thought this was something we needed. Even got to see Tucker come up with and develop the "forcefields", as well as Novakovich's unfortunate transporter accident prompting them to add the Annular Confinement Beam.

The NX might actually be my favorite Trek ship, maybe a three-way tie with the Constitution refit and the Galaxy. Thank you for letting me see inside it!

Thanks for this. Enterprise the series is mostly overlooked, but I loved it.

Another great video. The Warp 5 engine at the time the series started was the most innovative human tool. As an Enterprise defender, i’ve made these points before, but for the uninitiated, warp speed increases aren’t uniform, they’re exponential. I don’t have my chart handy, but Warp 5 is many, many times faster than Warp 4.

Hello? I just accidentally stumbled upon your channel. As a Long Time ST fan... I was seven years old when TOS premiered. Thank you for these videos!!!

This was so amazing! To see such a detailed 3D breakdown of a ship really informs on what it would be like to actually visit these structures if they were real. This even corrected me on just how big the NX Class is. Like I thought it was tiny, but having it be shown beside an aeroplane really showed me this thing is way bigger than what we were made to think on screen. Much like modern navy vessels, they really did use every inch of space they could, clearly. Such a great video! 😃👍

Your models are impressive!!! I love the amount of care you show in building and presenting them. By far the most detailed and well thought out. It's a virtual presentation of the old tech manuals.
