Just a word of warning, using heat sources acclimates your critters to the warmth, if your power goes out for whatever reason, you dump them into the cold. It's better to just make sure they have lots of straw bedding in a place out of any wind, plenty of food, and fresh water. They'll be good!

My sulcata had a respiratory infection when he was young. We had to put him in the shower with a humidifier with medicine in it for an hour a day for weeks! He finally got better but we were really worried for a bit. Hopefully you have a good vet for tortoises. Lung infections are scary🤞 praying for the lil guy. Mine is over 100lbs now
