Pretty cool idea but a lot of games don't map the buttons that way.

The smartest games map L3/R3 to the bottom corners of the front touch screen, and R1/L1 to the rear touch screen, R2/L2 to the R/L buttons.

I just order mine a week ago from Amazon. I can not wait til it arrives, this slim is hard to hold but I still love it, not as much as my ps4 pro, but it comes in handy when not being home, but I will love it so much more when it arrives and I'll have access to the L2, R2, & L3, R3, buttons. thanks for video, I order this when not seeing a video, so I really didn't know what I was getting myself into or not knowing what it would be like, , Your video answered all my question on curiosity, thanks for video.

If you have a hacked vita then you can force the controls to be on the back touchpad for remote play. There is a plugin for it. Goes great with this hori grip.

Some remote played games don't map shoulders and joystick clicks to the touchpad? Then where are they? The touchscreen? Can you re-map them manually?

Looks great. I have a tempered glass on my Vita slim so I'm a bit worried it might cause some problems if I decide to get the grip.

I LOVE this... Except now for some reason, during remote play, my rear touchscreen doesn't function. Works in all other fashions, and I know the settings and game supports it. It simply stopped working... So heads up if planning on remote play people.

If only it added extra battery life like the nyko power grip. Although, it doesn't look like there's any powered items on this grip so maybe you could Frankenstein the nyko power grip and the hori l2 l3 42 r3 grip.... I'll have to try it.

What I don't get is why they didn't add l3r3 on the analog sticks like the PS4 controller cuz that kinda was a problem on the original psp

Excellent review and showcase man! I just bought a blue Vita Sim for my girlfriend and I already have a Fat and Slim black Vita's and so I saw this L2, R2, L3, R3 grip over eBay and man, I thank you so much for making this video, I'll definitely buy this to play my HD trilogies on my Vita! :D Any suggestion on awesome Vita games that might not be popular? :p

i have the old L2 and R2 grip, and when i removed it, it scratched the upper front right of my vita, but the worst thing is that it DENTED the BACK of my vita, like where the rubber connects for the L2 R2 touch, those got pushed in too much coz of how tight the clips are, and now my vita has 2 permanent dents on the back :( the new grip doesnt look aggresively tight, but in the future, it could also instead give 4 dents as to where the 4 rubber connects.

Ugh, is there one for the original Vita? I hate the slim Vita, I need one of these for the original, and yet all that they seem to make is stuff for the slim.

this might be a weird question, but i thought the ps4 remote play l2r2 l3r3 buttons were on the front? (the 4 corners) how does this even work?
