I used buttons called thumbies you can buy them of ebay or amazon they are capacitive touch buttons sucker cup buttons you put on ur iPhone tablets screen etc so they act like physical push buttons and they touch copper tape which is stuck to the psvita back touch panel hope that helps :)

I had the SAME idea it looks like i will have to buy that copper tape after all. The method i was trying was a bit to extensive. Once it is done ill let post a video but may take a few weeks.

Yeah you just put copper tape on the back touch panel and then make sure your button connects to that and there you go

Sweet man I can't wait to see it I just wanted to do a quick mod so anyone can do it :) I'm still my self in the process of doing another mod like you said it takes time and trial and error I'm happy with this one simple but affective and works really well you can use aluminium tape if you can't get copper

I'd like to try this myself, but have 0 experience. Do I just stick a line of copper tap from where the button hits to the touch panel area ?

No not yet I need a glue gun and a new precision screw driver set my old ones are crappie and I don't want to mess up my vita screws I will have to take my time which I haven't got at the moment with going to work etc but I got my X box one analogs this morning :) and I got red psp buttons but I'm gonna have to make the vita holes bigger for them to fit and iv got a chrome red vinyl sticky back plastic to put on my vita making my own skin so iv got a lot of work to do lol ill put it up when it's done :)
