The real reason Rowan was arguing, was not to prove he knows the rules like the back of his hand, it was to kill or get that's guy character killed as many times as possible for annoying him.

I seriously implore everyone to watch this episode with subtitles. the bit where Rowan puts on the wig. it's too good.
