Does God ACTUALLY hate you when you sin?

God HATES sin. But he doesn’t hate YOU. He hates that you COMMITTED in the act of sinning, but doesn’t hate you as a person, and so he DISCIPLINES you not because he hates you but he loves you so much that he shows WHY walking a path that’s not in his will, will harm you. He doesn’t condemn because that was all absorbed through the death of Jesus on the cross for our sins.

Hebrews 12:5 “My son, do not regard lightly the discipline of the Lord, nor be weary when reproved by him. For the Lord disciplines the one he loves”

It's not that He hates Us because we sin but sin separates us from God . Why is it that God talks to people who are righteous or holy.

@awakenedjotivation I’ve been struggling with sin and lust for years now. I’m always stuck in the cycle of addiction and ever since I have been trying to reconnect and grow closer God. He has been calling me to get into the word. I have never really read the Bible before although I’m ashamed to say I’ve been going to church for years. I’ve struggled to understand the King James Version that my brother has when I first tried. I was wondering what version of the Bible do you have and would you recommend anything to me? I want to surrender my life to Christ but I must know his teachings.
