Since Donald Trump is a senior citizen, he is part of a protected class due to age discrimination laws. Therefore, he could technically be considered a DEI hire.

That's why I love the "Nepo baby" shamming phenomenon, because it's the exact counter to this DEI myth. How are you going to point fingers at "didn't earn it" when most of your jobs came from family or family connections?

We went from “SJW” to “Woke agenda” to “DEI” in like five years it’s fucking crazy man

I literally heard a group of knitting ladies at Barnes and Noble saying that Harris didn’t really have a legitimate law degree, and got all of her degrees and jobs by being the right color. Say you’re racist without saying you’re racist.

If Harris is the DEI candidate, then Trump is the DUI candidate.

Leave it to conservatives to find a hard R when saying DEI.

My sister: "I don't see race."
Also my sister: "The reason my boss was hired was because she's black."

When conservatives say DEI, it's a stand-in for the N word, the F slur, or a misogynist slur.

The worst part is that they imply that diversity is something bad.

I haven't heard any Conservative say the same about Clarence Thomas.

I loved when Don Lemon sat down with Elon Musk and called him out on this exact issue, and he was a deer caught in the headlights. As he couldn't believe he was being called out on his BS and in real time no less, and by an employee of all people, well an employee for that day anyways, as he was fired right after the interview. He was presented with facts, and that all the crap he was pushing on Twitter was 100% false and had no basis in reality. Yeah, that made for some good viewing, as I loved seeing that POS squirm when not talking to a bunch of "yes" men on the normal propaganda stations he often frequents.

It's rich that a female on Fox News would complain about "DEI." Do they not understand that's how they got their job at Fox? 😉

The same people who complain about DEI hires are telling us that immigrants are coming for black jobs.

Republican race bating during Obama’s run for president is what drove me from the party. I’ve seen nothing since that would ever make me vote for them again.

When conservatives talk about AA and DEI, they make it sound like any old black person off the street is recruited into some high-powered position that normally needs years of study and experience. When you point that out, they swear that that's not what they're saying. They say they just want the most qualified person to get the job. Funny how the most qualified person always seems to be a white man and, in certain cases, an old white man. If they really cared about the most qualified person getting the job, they'd be concerned that 50% of presidents hadn't already been women, because if they make up 50% of the population and 0% of presidents, something is awry.

Trump: "Define DEI for me."
Journalist: "Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion."
Trump: "No, define it for me...."
This actually happened on TV. These were the exact words and all you need to know about Trump.

As a Black woman, I haven’t benefited from DEI in the job space in any way, shape, or form despite my qualifications. In fact, I think it has done me a disservice in some ways, because I'm looked at like a potential liability to HR, but that’s another conversation. So, I’m always confused and angered by these right wing assumptions.
