It doesn’t matter if you’ve been speaking English your entire life; you’re bound to make some mistakes. Sure, you learned the proper way to say “library” when you were a kid, but do you pronounce “prescription” like “per-scrip-tion” or “pri-scrip-tion”? And what’s the proper way to say “hierarchy”? Improve your pronunciation or just satisfy your curiosity with this fun English lesson that proves you can always learn something new. And probably still keep making the same mistakes anyway because everyone else is making them too. Words in this lesson include: arctic, cavalry, especially, foliage, hierarchy, interpret, miniature, sherbet, February, and more.

In the Greek language we have tones on each word that helps us pronounce the words correctly. In every tone we see we know the syllable must pronounced one tone up like to singing. it is as you wrote ( Àt mou st ) I think for us who do not pronounce English well it would help us a lot..
Thank you very much for your lesson it was very helpful!!
Best regards Éffie

Dear Alex, it was a great session, for I have been using "interpretate" for all these time, thank you for correction.
Also we Indians never omit any letters as in hierarchy or foliage, and what we don't know is Pronunciation with silent letters. So please do a lesson on that too.
Thankyou

Thanks for helping with the pronunciation of some words and I want to let you know that Hierarchy is pronounced hai·uh·raa·kee (ˈhaɪəˌrɑːkɪ) one does not pronounce the "r" twice.
