Engineers founded this company, accountants ruined it .

Calhoun is not a leader. Blames his suppliers, his employees....has no answers to every critical question. He seems to have no clue what's going in his company. Just sad.

A 40 million$ yearly salary but hasn’t raised the salary of his employees in 12 years

What's ironic is that in this hour and a half senate hearing, Calhoun made about $22, 000 (based on a $32.8M salary). Wild.

I spent 26 years as a senior Boeing jet reconstitution engineer, and can confirm that everything said by the CEO was a lie. For 60k a year, i can barely get by WITH MY TENURE!

Calhoun encourages every Boeing employee to speak up about safety concerns...so they can be added to "THE LIST".

When companies are deregulated, customer and employee safety take second place to profit. When will it end? When violations result in prison time. Everything else is just fiddle-faddle.

His body language says everything. He doesn’t care and he has contempt and disdain for everyone there

That Boeing CEO needs to be fired immediately for the casualties him and his company has caused

Only Boeing employees really know how bad it is there.

Senator Hawley was like Eminem on 8 mile lmao. As soon as they passed him the mic he ripped this clown apart. I see a future presidential candidate in the making.

I am employee of a Boeing a supplier and we are struggling to make a quality product due to a lack of tools and time. Unqualified manufacturing associates and quality inspectors, because they want to pay the salary of qualified employees. All of this is an effort to save cost.

I'm sure there is a same reason for this, but my coworker likes to mention how Boeing merged with McDonnell Douglas with the latter having production issues. And for some reason the management from Douglas gained top spots in Boeing.

Hey sen. Johnson. Shut up and step down. Your excuses for the executive class are pitiful. They get the “blame” because they have the say so and reap all of the reward they can.

To sum this video up: One thing I’ve noticed is that Calhoun doesn’t seem to answer these questions directly, I believe he is a liar and a traitor to the Boeing workforce, he is covering up everything and coating it with “quality is our first concern” and yet here he is indirectly presenting everyone that he doesn’t give a damn by somehow using the exact same words every time. This man needs to step down and never come back as CEO of any company if he cannot return a designation with quality assurance.

Never in all my years in the Military as an Officer and Management of fortune 50 companies have I seen a CEO in so far over his head in a company demanding perfection as I have seen today.
This (once Great Company) is in serious trouble and it should be. This Man should step down yesterday. I personally wouldn't fly in one of their experiments for Free.

No accountability, no guilt, no justice. Only money and death.

Listening to the woman pleading at the opening was painful to hear and brought tears to my eyes.

This company has become a stain on America. Once magnificent and well respected …. Now worldwide people are fearful every time we step on a flight.
And to the whistleblowers. It’s obvious they have reasons to be fearful as well.
Such a sad evolution of Boeing.

“I’m happy to follow up” this guy is stepping down at the end of the year to avoid accountability. A follow up is not happening and a replacing of a CEO will change nothing.
