At this point, a foreigner should be Boeing’s new CEO as they might not have the same crony capitalistic mindset as taught in many of America’s schools. Perhaps an Airbus or Embraer employee should be recruited. It will be expensive but Boeing desperately needs a non-corporate America mindset to run their engineering company.

If it's Boeing I'm not going...

So how does it make sense to let the current Board choose the next CEO?!!!

The problem is you can’t even avoid boeing planes, they are just everywhere. What can you do?

Make him admit he did nothing, pay a fine, and promise you won't do it again, until next time.
I wish we all corporate accountability instead of personal responsibility,
A corporations purpose is to protect and conceal the owners and management from the consequences of their actions.

Maybe the CEO of Bic would be interested.

It's a very comfy hot seat with an enviable remuneration package. The greatest consequence being parachuted into another executive team or early retirement with very secure income for life.

I am a physician's assistant and also have a nursing degree. I would not treat this man if he came through any doors I worked at. I would fake a cough and leave. This is what greed and arrogance at the expense of human safety looks like. No one should ever hire this guy for anything anywhere or time.

Good thing Boeing moved its headquarters from Chicago to Virginia. CEO Calhoun should be in no hurry to leave the hearing.

Boeing needs to be investigated to the fullest extent, absolutely shameful

Just say sorry, Boeing and all is well.

The extreme bureaucratization of production processes means that people no longer have time to do their duty.

How would anyone feel safe expressing concerns when you just killed whistleblowers?

"We're deeply sorry for your losses" Is that it? How sorry? Enough to give up your mansion and yachts and give the proceeds to the family? Nah, not that sorry. Only a little sorry. Sorry that the investigation found that it was their fault.

I will do everything that I can to fly on any plane other than a Boeing, and if that’s not possible I will re-think my travel plans.

But what about mid management? What about incompetence at engineering management and quality management????
