Variatus are one of my favorites, if not my favorite. I've been keeping them for 15 years and they still get my heart throbbing 🤟🏻

Cool Platy. I bet she could cross with a red/orange swordtail and develop an nice black sword that I use to see back in the day with a black tail also.

I keep all my Platy's at room temp of about 69-70°F year-round. I got a bunch of free Platy fry from PetSmart and just tossed them in with the WCMM in a 20 tall.

They're all about 1yr old now and have been pumping out fry for months now. They're all really active and a joy to watch alongside the WCMM.

I'm unsure of the type but think I have some Sunset and twin bars and some bumblebee. Maybe some others as well.

do you have an unheated tank playlist? I did not know that about the platy, have known it well about glass Barb's and Guppies white clouds, Cory's, rainbow sharks, silver dollars and red blue Tetris which I think are also known as Colombians
Does variatus include multiple colors? This one is especially stunning
